MAMA

Mama is the shiba inu/ husky mix that lives up to her name. While being the only female dog in the house, Mama is also the first dog of this pack. Bri and Mama are usually together and working on day to day obedience demos, but Mama also loves her naps. Bri often says that Mama is the ‘Spock to her Kirk.’

PAVLOV

Pavlov (aka Pav) came to Bri as a feral dog from a local shelter project. This werewolf was a mess, but over the year they teamed up and accomplished ecollar training, retrieving, and car rides. Pav has also found comfort in the big world, commonly found off leash and romping on the creek island behind the LYD facility.

PANCHO

Pancho is the wily little dude who knows recall like a master. With a hound nose and adventurous spirit, Pancho started his training shortly after Bri took him in to prevent disaster. The idea to ecollar train this mini man came to Bri as a way to increase exercise and reduce extra energy. Together they have climbed trees, taught agility, and reduced his interest in eating worms and other oddities.

BRONSON

Bronson was the last to join the group but was a pivotal addition. He teams up with Pavlov while retrieving, swims with Pancho in the creek, naps with Mama, and porch hangs with Dude every so often. Bronson is a typical man’s man and “can do” anything dog. Bronson helps us carry items if our hands are full and monitors the house, alarming for us if there are signs of disturbance.

LEFTY

What dog house is complete without a cat? Lefty is the ultimate distraction and play buddy. He is out and about with every dog that visits. Lefty is a fantastic friend to warm up the not so cat enthusiastic dog or reinforce with the playtime some dogs love.
